The story behind Lead Consciously
Lead Consciously was founded by Wim Faassen. Wim is married to Heleen and they have beautiful twin daughters named Jet and Sara.
In various management roles at Ormit, Philips and Guidion, Wim noticed that his passion lies primarily in coaching and developing the people in his teams. After Gerard Kemps invited him to teach The Weekend together as a trainer, Wim started his own company Lead Consciously. Lead Consciously's mission is to create infinite growth for leaders, professionals and teams by letting people shine. After all, happy people are the most valuable ingredient for successful organizations.
My personal mission is to shine & let others shine. I work with a big smile and enjoy what I do. I want to help others shine as well!
'Over the past 10 years I have experienced tremendous growth, both in personal awareness and achieving new goals in my career. From the moment I became aware of my behaviour, the underlying feelings and invisible patterns that triggered my insecurity, I began to take control of my life and my work. I stopped trying to push a balloon underwater, wasting a lot of energy, and instead started to deflate it by opening up to myself. I dared to make choices out of love for myself that I didn't have the awareness or courage to make before. I started to accept myself as I am, perfectly imperfect as I am. And in doing so, I became much happier, more decisive and successful. Not only as a manager, coach and entrepreneur, but also as a husband and father.'
Lead Consciously focuses on developing you as a person, always in relation to the environment in which you live your life.
Being part of an organization, team or family is about being happy and being there for the people around you. By being aware of yourself, your leading role in these teams and how you can take charge of their success, you can steer your life in the direction you want it to go. You can't influence everything around you, but you can influence how you deal with every situation on that path. This is what we teach our leaders, teams and organizations through coaching, training and leadership programs. You determine whether you take control of this leadership. Once you start increasing your own awareness, it is an infinite journey.
What drives us every day
From our core values - be vulnerable, have fun, stay curious and never give up - we coach, train and develop leaders and organizations every day to make conscious choices. We do this together with our clients and regularly in wonderful collaborations. We enjoy working together more than alone and often more is created through the synergy we create. One of our principles is always look for the win-win-win. We constantly look for the greatest possible value for everyone.
Wim is a certified Co-active Coach (CPCC), Systemic Coach (Phoenix), NLP Practioner (UNLP), Radical Collaboration trainer (RC Group LLC) and is accredited by the ICF, the International Coach Federation.
